This fabulous decal sheet made by AirDOC (printed by Cartograph of Italy) includes not only markings for several aircraft but also a full stenciling for this Soviet made jet (stencils for only one jet). I think I'm not exagerating when I say there are about 300 decals on this sheet.

 Apart from letting you build virtually any MiG-29 in the Luftwaffe, you get special markings for six MiG-29G and two MiG-29GT. Although AirDOC gives you no decals for that, you can paint the false canopy and false air intakes on the bottom of the model. They show drawings of it and tell you which aircraft had that painted on.

 Here they are:

 MiG-29G:

 29+05, JG73, Jever, 1997: This one has a scorpion painted on the nose.

 29+21, Test and Evaluation Wing, Preschen, 1991: This one has the marking of a live-fired AA-10 "Alamo" just behind the cockpit. It also has a 100th mission marking for the tail.

29+11, Test and Evaluation Wing, Preschen, 1992: it was one of the first NVA MiG's to receive the Norm 90J camo. Trying to disguise the dark-gray radome, they painted in the light grey used in the rest of the fuselage, but the paint did not stick and started to fall. Therefore, there's a cool efect of chipped paint on the nose.

 29+10, JG73, Preschen, 1993: a regular Norm 90J aircraft. No special markings for this one

 29+17, Test and Evaluation Wing, Preschen, 1993: same comments as for 29+11. This time, the radome and di-electrical panels weren't painted, due to the bad results of the first attempts.

 29+17, JG73, Laage, 2002: it's the same aircraft as before but 9 years later. This time it has an anti-glare panel in front of the cockpit and a false canopy and air intakes painted on the bottom.

 MiG-29GT:

 29+24, Test and Evaluation Wing, Preschen, 1993: a regular Norm 90J MiG-29GT

 29+25, JG73, Laage, 2000: this was the last GT model but the first to get the ICAO-1 upgrade in 1992.

 The instruction sheet consists of three A4 size folded sheets. Two of them are coloured. The one in black and white is the stenciling guide.

 Conclusion:

This is a great decal sheet for the modern Luftwaffe fans. If you can only put together the Academy MiG-29 (that's the suggested kit and I agree), you will have  a very cool Fulcrum in your collection. Highly recommended.
