RESIN, Metal, Photo etched parts |
This second reference suits for the F-4, but also for the F-16 and F/A-18. As always, 2 bombs by set, containing 2 resin bodies, 4 white metal parts, 74 p/e parts.
As some of these last ones are common to the other bombs references, many of them will not be used. A maximum of 14 p/e part per bomb, if you choose the front fuse extension in white metal (option). These elements are well delimited with separation line on the fret and grouped together, the tiny area called COMMON PARTS is for the 2 upper fixing points (you’ll have to add a home made rod – in white on pictures) and the extremities of the fuse.
Nothing special to say about construction, after a fine sanding action to clear the molding line on the resin body, the main work will consist to built the 4 fins (8 pieces, glued by pair), which open in "parachutes" for a braked fall after the drop. Recommended.
