Shown prior to having markings applied, #51 is painted in the same paint scheme as F-18B #02. This is the aircraft represented on Twobobs decals sheet #48-002. It has since had full NSAWC markings applied.

This Hornet sports a new blue/blue/gray paint scheme. It is based on the "standard" adversary pattern, but with blues and gray instead of tan and browns. As of September 2000, this was the only aircraft in this scheme.
