This is the Spirale chaff dispenser of the Mirage
2000C.
This is the control panel of the Spirale flare
dispenser of the Mirage 2000C.
Fitted to late Mirage 2000Cs, 2000N-K2s and
2000Ds, during production, and being retrofitted to 2000Cs and
2000N-K1s, the MATRA Spirale System is an automatic countermeasures
suite designed specifically for the Mirage 2000 being integrated into
the airframe.
The chaff dispensers are mounted in the rear of
the Karman fairings either side of the fuselage.
In the lower fuselage are eight-round flare
dispensers.
