This latest CD from Aero Research starts off what should be several discs on CAG aircraft. For those not in the know, every USN unit designates one aircraft to be the 'property' of the air group commander (CAG). This aircraft has a nose number than ends in 00. Some of them are very colorful, including the colors used by each squadron in the air group. Others, thanks to low visibility paint, are just as plain as the rest of the unit's aircraft. The Marines do not have CAGs unless deployed aboard ship, but will often make the 00 plane more colorful anyway.

There are 154 images covering 330 megabytes of disc space. Each image has all the information about the aircraft including date and place photographed if it was known. This disc is organized by unit so you will fine, for instance, VA-196 before VF-11. The quality of the images is quite variable with some of them included purely for historical completeness.

Like the other products of Aero Research, this one is a disc of eye candy that will be appreciated by modelers and fans of the aircraft alike. I am positive you will find to your liking.
