This latest CD
from Aero Research continues with their fine series on USAF planes over the
years. This one has a number of interesting and rare images from the 1960s
through to the 1990s. There are all sorts of aircraft types including some C-47s
and F-86s as well as other types. The ones that get the most coverage in this
edition are the Phantom II, F-5A/E, T-33, and T-38. I especially liked all the
neat schemes for the Northrop aircraft and loved the bare metal helos, C-47s and
other types from the early 1960s and before.
You get the usual ramp shots with the vast majority of
them crisp and clear. There are also some tanked at air shows and a few that
have noses and tails cropped. There are also quite a few in flight images, which
is nice to see as well as some special schemes for
those who like these sorts of things.
There are 169 images covering 325 megabytes of disc space. Each image has all the information about the aircraft including date and place photographed if it was known. You will find that this disc has the aircraft listed by aircraft type.
Like the other products of Aero Research, this one is a disc of eye candy that will be appreciated by modelers and fans of the aircraft alike.
