This latest CD
from Aero Research continues with their fine series on USN/USMC aircraft over
the years. What makes this one special is that there are a lot of images from
40, 50 years back and not all that many that are more modern. While there are
the usual AV-8A and F-14 images, there are also quite a large number of F9F and
F11F images as well as some great F-5 and T-38 shots. Helo fans are not left out
as the disc includes nice H-3 and H-60 images as well. Aside from a nice
batch of C-1s, the disc is pretty much devoid of transport types, leaving more
room for other aircraft.
You get the usual ramp shots with the vast majority of them crisp and clear. There are also some tanked at air shows and some in flight images as well as a few special schemes including a Bicentennial T-38 that I'd not seen before, and other surprises.
There are 158 images covering
281 megabytes of disc
space. Each image has all the information about the aircraft including date and
place photographed if it was known. You will find that this disc has the
aircraft listed by aircraft type.
Like the other products of Aero Research, this one is a disc of eye candy that will be appreciated by modelers and fans of the aircraft alike.
