sixteen aircraft, all Bf-109Fs and from the look of it, all of them operating on
the Eastern Front. Those of you who have paid as much as is offered for this
book for a decal set will appreciate that these books are a huge bargain, both
for the enthusiast and for the modeler.
The art work is superb, with the right and left side profiles filling one page. The other has upper plan view with the underside of the wings alone to show paint and markings. Each one of these subjects is based on photos and Kagero provide the references for the origin of these markings. Naturally, there is some conjecture involved, especially where the images are not complete, but they are based on the norms of the unit in question and are as accurate as they can be.

The really neat thing about all these markings options is that few of them are standard schemes. One of the neat things about doing Luftwaffe aircraft is the wide variety of interesting camouflage schemes. This set provides quite a few of these. As with other sets in this series, only the unique markings are provided with the common ones coming from the donor kit. All three major scales are represented with markings in 1/72, 1/48, and 1/32 scale. There are quite a few good kits out there for the builder to choose from.
In all, it is a great offering and one that Luftwaffe fans should not pass up.
