It has been a long time since I've seen a new AV-8B sheet and this one from Twobobs is a real find for those who like this aircraft. It is a large set that includes two full sheets and two fragment sheets. One of the full sheets is for common markings, one of the fragment sheets has slime lights and the other has some unit markings in layers for those who like that. The only sheet shown is for the unique markings on the six subjects.

Four of the subjects are for AV-8B+ Harriers with the nose radar. Unfortunately, there are no kits in 1/48 that offer this right from the box. However Twobobs does offer resin bits to upgrade the only kit available for this plane from Monogram. VMA-223 has two of the plus aircraft while the other two are from VMA-542 and VMA-231. This last plane has a very nice tail markings that goes beyond the norm for Harriers.

Another option is for a night attack plane from VMA-231 and the last scheme is for a VMA-231 aircraft while attached to HMM-264 for their cruise. Whenever Harrier squadrons deploy, they are attached to the air group's medium helo unit and adopt their tail codes for the duration. This particular plane has IFOR markings on it as well.

It is a very nice set of decals that offers a huge number of possibilities for the Harrier II builder and one that should be considered.
