Replacing the old faithful F-4 Phantom as a test pilot school and chase aircraft at Edwards AFB is the F-15 Eagle. The thing about Edwards birds is that often they are modified for different test programs and several are definitely painted in more unusual colors. Especially fetching on just about any plane is the overall white with International Orange panels on the wings and tails. These are also just about the only USAF jet fighters with 'U.S. Air Force' emblazoned on the fuselage sides as per days of yore.
On this sheet are two planes. One is an F-15A in the test scheme and two different serial numbered aircraft are given. The second plane is an F-15D model 'Glamorous Glennis' that was flown by Chuck Yeager to commemorate the 50th anniversary of supersonic flight in 1997. This plane carried conformal fuel tanks so your best choice of kit are the Hasegawa or Academy F-15E's (which are basically their F-15B/D kits with the E model tanks and racks).
Wither scheme will look just great on your next Eagle kit and I KNOW that the next one I build will be the white F-15A!
