Here's the second sheet of F-105 stuff and like the first, most are wild weasels in SEA camouflage. Also like the first, the instructions are tough to read because the background is so dark.
First up is an F-105D in Thunderstick II configuration with the enlarged fuselage spine. This is with the 457 TFS/301 TFW of the USAF Reserves. This one must be the boss bird as it has the multi-colored fuselage band. These guys later went to Phantoms and then to F-16s during which time they changed their tail codes to TF (Texas Falcons) because the 113 FS in Terra Haute wanted the TH codes.
Next is another F-105D, the 'Hanoi Express' when it was assigned to the 149 TFS, Virginia Air National Guard.
'Half Fast' was an EF-105F from the 13 TFS/388 TFW in 1967. Many of these aircraft on this sheet need to have modifications done to be properly represented by the Monogram/Revell kits. Those kits were made when the aircraft were near the end of their service life so had many mods done. To properly duplicate these planes, a lot of 'de-modification' needs to be done. The instructions provide guidance in doing that.
Finally, a real F-105G (early) from the 561 TFS/388 TFW. This particular aircraft has been preserved and is in the USAF Museum. There is some controversy over the kill marks as most don't believe they are actually earned by this aircraft but perhaps by a previous pilot and just left on because they look cool.
