Beginning a short series on late war FW-190s, this sheet is designed for Dragon or Tamiya FW-190s, though there is a nice Otaki/Arii kit that could also be used if you are on a budget. All three are in the standard scheme of RLM 74/75/76 with various areas of mottling.
First up is the FW-190A-8, Yellow 12, of 6./JG 300, This one has areas of a dark grey, possibly RLM 66 on the center section of the fuselage. You'll also note that the scabbed armor area is in RLM 02. The forward cowl is in RLM 04 yellow.
From Stab./JG 300 comes Walter Dahl's FW-190A-8, Blue 13. It is a pretty clean plane with only the yellow lower cowling and red Reich Defense band to add color.
Finally, from 5./JG 26 comes white 9, Adolf Glunz' FW-190A-7. It has his impressive score on a yellow rudder and also sports a lower yellow cowl panel. Unlike most high scoring aces, Glunz was never shot down or wounded after more than 570 missions.
