I can never get enough Sabre sheets and this is one of the best. It covers four F-86s as used by the South African Air Force. These were all F-86F-30s or Sabre Mk6s  though I'm a bit unclear as to the wings they used. The instructions are not specific aside from one note to use the slatted wing walkways and the drawings show slatted wings. Two great kits are from Academy and Hasegawa, though you could use others if the wings are correct. These markings are based on 'On Target Profile #6' which, unfortunately, I don't have, so can't verify the wing types.

All these aircraft were in unpainted metal.

First up is 'Danny Boy' from 2 Sq  based at Osan, Korea in 1953

Next is a Sabre Mk 6 from 1 Sq in the early 1960s. This one is loaded up with da-glo and uses most of the markings on the second sheet. But it is impressive.

Third is 'Tomtit' of 2 Sq, also based at Osan in 1953. These aircraft were mostly used for ground attack like the Mustangs before them.

This third plane, also from 2Sq, has the rear fuselage from a USAF 67 FIS plane to replace the one damaged in action.

There are two sheets with a superb data set and enough insignia to do on Korean War and the post-war aircraft. I'm looking forward to building one of these as they are quite different from the norm.
