We all know that the FW-190 was the 'other' Luftwaffe fighter. It saw action on all fronts and was generally preferred by most pilots. 'Nuff said.

This was Aeromaster's first 1/72 sheet. They weren't sure it was worth the gamble but they did a bunch afterwards so it looks like it paid off. This sheet looks to contain all the common markings so that you can do all six subjects. Data markings will have to come from the kit decals. However, the sheet offers  a wide variety of aircraft.

First is black 7, an A-8 from 7./JG 300. It is in standard RLM 74/75/76 and has a blue and white Reich Defense band around the aft fuselage.

Next is another A-8, red 22 from II./JG 301. It is also in standard paint and has a red and yellow Reich Defense band.

The next A-8 is rather unusual in that it is overall RLM 76. Unit is unknown, but it has a bunch of markings. These markings also come with the Revell 1/72 FW-190A-8/R-11 kit, though I'd bet these are better.

Ace Walter Nowotny flew this next plane, an A-6 variant, with I./JG 54. Though in standard paint, it was over-painted with two shades of green. JG 54 was constantly experimenting with colors. It also has a yellow fuselage band centered on the national insignia.

Finally an A-4 for the Technical Officer of II./JG 1. In standard colors, it has a yellow panel under the nose and rather heavy fuselage mottling.

A great sheet for the 190 fan.
