Notes:

JG 27s unit badge with a native, cheetah and  background of Africa is one of the most recognized of the Luftwaffe. Unknown to many is that this is not a result of the units operations in North Africa, but in honor of Germany's old colonies (taken over after WWI), most of which were in Africa.

This sheet has five aircraft and a full suite of insignia for each one. All are for the Geschwader, Gruppe or Staffel leaders as noted by the various shapes of 'winkel' or arrow on the fuselage side.

All but one are in the desert camouflage of RLM 79 over RLM 78 while the other is in RLM 74/75/76.

First plane is a 109F-4Z from November 1941 with its fuselage markings in white.

The next F-4Z is from April 1942 and sports three kill markings.

The yellow nosed F-2 is of experten Eduard Neumann from Late 1971. Unusually, it also has a yellow rudder.

The lone 74/75/76 painted aircraft is the 109E-7  from April 1941. It also has a yellow nose and rudder, but not the usual white wing tips. It has mottling not only on the fuselage side, but also on the yellow nose and rudder.

Finally, not shown is another 109E-7, this time in full desert camo and also with a yellow nose, but not a yellow rudder.

Please note that the sheet may look a bit short as I'll often crop off common markings to save on server space.
