A strong competitor to Boeing in the airliner market is Airbus. A consortium of European aircraft makers, it is rapidly becoming a force to be reckoned with. There are industry estimates that in the near future, Airbus will eventually out-produce Boeing, something that is not looked forward to in Renton, Washington! 

The A.321 isn't the latest and greatest from Airbus, but is one of the better sellers. It is used in numerous regular airlines in both the US and overseas. It is also becoming more and more of a choice for those airlines whose primary venue is charter or tour operations. 

Air 2000 is one of those operators, flying out of the UK. What makes this operator so interesting is the paint scheme of the aircraft. It has a white fuselage (and what airline today doesn't) with lots of color in the tail and the cheatline that runs the length of the fuselage under the windows. The rest of the aircraft is in standard colors of grey and natural metal. 

There is a full painting diagram for wings and horizontal stabilizers on the back of the instruction sheet. The sheet also cautions that not all Revell A.321 kits have the CFM-56 engines so you need to be sure that the one you buy has these engines. There are additional decals included as not all Air 2000 aircraft are exactly the same. The best thing is for you to have a photo of the plane you are going to model. LU also includes an additional sheet with slightly different colored engine pylon decals and window decals.

It certainly is a colorful aircraft and one that will look great on your modeling shelf.
