With the new Revell 1/32 He-111P on its way, it was fitting that AIMS would be providing the first sheet for this kit.  In order to provide the greatest number of options, the majority of common markings are going to come from the decal sheet. AIMS provides the appropriate codes, unit badges and kill markings, as well as swastikas and insignia for one option.  The very well done placement guide not only gives information on all the various options, but also on precise markings placement.

All of the aircraft started in RLM 70/71/65 in the standard splinter camouflage scheme. This scheme can be found in the kit markings instructions.

First up is an aircraft from 1./KG 27 during the Poland campaign. This one has red spinners and a large artwork on the fuselage side.

Next, from 1./KG 55 is this aircraft which the researcher admits might be an H-1 as it is impossible to tell. The aircraft has a large white bull on the fuselage. Both this and the previous aircraft have the early war style insignia and placement.

Third, from 2./KG 54 and borrowed by 3./KG 54 for a May 1940 Mission over Arras is this aircraft with nice tail art, a white fuselage band and red tipped spinners.

The lone aircraft with a sooty black underside is this KG 55 aircraft that participated on the Blitz over London in 1940. It has an impressive tally of mission marks along the fuselage.

Finally a plane pulled from a Norway mountainside in 1976 is this aircraft from 5./KG 4. This aircraft was shot down by Skuas in 1940, one of the type's few victories.

In all, an excellent sheet  that is superbly printed by Cartograf. It is one that those of you who are going to build the big Revell kit should seriously consider.
