With the release of the big Trumpeter MiGs a few years back, Albatros decided it was a good time to issue several MiG-21 sheets. These were done in all the major scales and this is the 1/32 sheet. It covers aircraft from four different countries.

First are a pair of Congolese AF aircraft, one in what seems to be overall bare metal in the drawing, but is listed as a grey. and the other camouflaged in a couple of greens and a tan over pale blue.

The Indian AF has had some of the more colorful 21s around and painted several of them in more unusual schemes for DACM training. There are two on this sheet. One from 23 Sq sporting an all blue tail section. The other is from 24 Sq and has yellow bands covering it from fore to aft. These bands are not evenly spaced.

From the Mozambique AF comes a two green/brown over pale blue 21MF. The sheet provides three different nose numbers.

Finally, a most striking special scheme from the Polish AF. This aircraft has a large blue swordfish on the left side. It takes up two full decal sheets (not shown for space limitations). This marking may have been on both sides so an additional swordfish is provided.

All these schemes are quite striking and I would bet that they would also fit the older Revell 1/32 MiG-21. The Albatros instructions are quite well done, though with the heavy background treatment that seems to be in vogue with them and does tend to make it difficult to read any additional information.
