The RAF seems to really like special paint schemes. Squadrons seem to adopt new ones every five years to celebrate anniversaries and the schemes range from extensive repaints to little more than some special tail markings.
With this year, we have the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and so it is not at all unusual to find that there is a special scheme plane done for this occasion. In this case, 29 Squadron, which currently flies the Typhoon FGR.4 has painted up a plane in a 1940 scheme complete with codes. Interestingly enough the unit flew Blenhims as day then night fighters until late 1940 when it got Beaufighters and later in the war, Mosquitos.
The sheet includes all the standard markings appropriate for one aircraft and includes the wing walk areas. It is painted in dark green, dark earth and camo grey with other parts of the airframe in light gull grey. I'm not up to speed on the Typhoon, but do know that Revell has kitted this in 1/48 though it may not be the FGR.4 variant so check to see what, if any external clues there are to this version.
Caracal provides a full color instruction sheet and there are more images of this plane on their website. The decals themselves are printed by Cartograf so you know you are getting the best.
