Lots of us build Korean War F-86 Sabres. Lots of us also struggle with kit supplied decals for the yellow ID bands or have to try to paint them in place. Often this means that a fine model is ruined by our butchered painting attempts or poor kit supplied decals.

Cutting Edge has provided a superb sheet of stencils that includes these yellow bands to replace those provided in kit decals or not provided at all. What's more, there are two sizes of these; the 28 inch ones used prior to the F-86-25, and the 36" versions that were applied on the fuselage at the factory starting with FY 1952 build aircraft.  You also get a couple of wing walk patterns and full stencil suite with guide, though to be honest, the guide is rather difficult to read.

There is no recommended kit so these should fit all 1/48 F-86 A, E, and F kits.

Regardless, this is a sheet you really should get for your next Korean war Sabre.
