Here are a couple of very nice schemes for the Thunderjet. Eagle Strike has been nice enough to include both an E and a G in this one. Oddly enough, the wheel wells of the Revell E and the Tamiya G are not exactly the same, so they suggest using the kit decals for the common stuff on the E. This is fine as the Revell decal sheet is actually very well done and the common markings will be quite usable.

Ok, so the first plane is the F-84G from the 310 FBS. While the standard squadron markings are rather plain, the large dragon on the side of the fuselage is not and really adds a lot to it.

The F-84E is an 8 FBS aircraft from the very popular 49 FBW, a unit that has seen a lot of action over the decades and currently is part of the Stealth fighter wing. No fancy nose art on this one, but a very nice set of markings in any case.

As you can see, a full stencil suite  and markings are provided for the G. Both planes are in bare metal. Though heavily weathered, you still need to be somewhat proficient in doing metallic surfaces when attempting these planes.
