The second sheet for the Demon also covers two aircraft. Of course, it is designed for the Grand Phoenix kit, though I'm sure those of you who have the Collect-aire version will be able to use it as well with a bit of fudging. Both are in the light gull grey and white scheme. It would be neat to have this and the previous sheet available in 1/72 for the Emhar kit (hint).
First up is an F3H-2N from VF-82 aboard the USS Forrestal. The tailplane tips and wing tips need to be painted red.
The other is from VF-193 in 1958. This particular unit was based at NAS Moffett Field.
I should point out that some of the planes on this and the previous sheet may have the shorter 'beaver tail' than what comes with the current kit. In that case, it is a simple enough task to cut down the kit tail and I'm told that the next Grand Phoenix F3H release will have this shorter tail.
As with the previous sheet, this one includes two sets of wing walk decals as well as a nose anti-glare panel decal. There are enough common decals to do one of the two subjects.
