Back with sheet two for Luftwaffe Sabres, there are three aircraft on this particular sheet. Designed for the Hasegawa or Academy 1/48 F-86s, you could probably get them to fit the Italeri/ESCI or Monogram kit with a bit of knife work and paint.
First up is BB+237 from WaSlw 10 in 1961. Those Sabres with green noses (like this one) had a different paint scheme from the others. In this case the colors are FS34079 green, RAL 7015 grey and PRU Blue undersides.
From JG 71 in 1963 comes this tulip-nosed aircraft with yellow trim as was typical of the third squadron. It is in RAL 6014/7012 uppers with RAL 7001 undersides.
In the same scheme is this JG 72 'Vikings' Sabre. It has a very nice set of red markings along with red wing tips, making for a most colorful aircraft.
If you are tired of the usual Korean war F-86 then this would make a superb change. There are a full set of stencils and insignia for one aircraft.
