Now for a run on some Luftwaffe stuff. This sheet starts a series on FW-190A/F fighters used from about 1943 onwards. The Tamiya and DML kits are those recommended, but for the 190A-8, you may find that the Arii/Otaki kit isn't a bad choice, though a bit light on detail. All of these planes are in the standard scheme of RLM 74/75/76, though some have additions and will be noted.

There are full stencil and insignia to allow you to do three of the four options provided on this sheet if you choose wisely.

First up is White 4 from Erpobunkskommando 25, a unit used to test the use of the 21 cm mortar in aircraft. This FW-190A-5 has a yellow fin and lower cowling along with very light nose and tail mottling. A black area has been painted around the exhaust.

Next is Black 2 from SG 77. This F-8 variant has a rather unusual scheme that has RLM 83 streaks on the fuselage and a rather odd side color of a greenish shade that has not been painted into the fuselage cross or swastika area.

From II./SG 2 comes black << flown by the CO. This FW-190G-3 has a white spinner tip and yellow for the lower cowling, lower wing tips and fuselage band. Light fin and nose mottling with a black area painted around the exhaust.

Finally, an FW-190A-5 from the Kommandeur of III./JG 2, Egon Mayer. Aside from the yellow fin and lower nose, this one is quite clean and has no side mottling at at all. The black exhaust area has a white stripe as does the rear fuselage.

The sheet also provides wing walk stripes should you wish to use them.
