I know that a lot of us have either the ProModeler or Tamiya 1/48 F-84G Thunderjet kit sitting in our stash and just waiting for a cool decal sheet for us to break it out and build it. Well, thanks to Hi-Decal, we now have several very interesting options. Before going into any details, I should point out that some of these options are using Fletcher tip tanks. These are the same tanks as used by the F-94 and T-33 to name a few so finding them shouldn't be that difficult, though you will probably have to rob a kit to get them.

First up is a NATO camouflaged RF-84G of the Danish Air Force. These cameras were built into the left tip tanks and Hi-Decal provides an addendum sheet that shows (in 1/48), just how these looked so you can build your own.

Next is another RF-84G from the Danish Air Force, but this time in bare metal. I'm sure that these planes could be built without the camera tanks as well.

In a very neat looking camo scheme using the same NATO colors of Dark Green and Dark Sea Grey, but in a most intriguing pattern is this Yugoslav RF-84G. I wonder if it is really that hard edges. As a note, the Yugoslav camera set up was a bit different and the addendum sheet shows that difference.

Finally, in bare metal is an Imperial Iranian AF F-84G.

A really super set of decals that are very nicely printed and quite thin.
