Notes:

As you can see from today's kit review, I built the Frog Meteor F.4. However, I didn't have a lot of faith in 40 year old decals so went searching for some replacements. I spotted this and another sheet from Kits-World. Both of them had one of the Frog kit markings on the sheet and since I wanted to do an RAF plane, I chose this one.

There are three markings options included.

A 263 Squadron plane from 1950 based at Church Fenton is the option that duplicates the Frog kit.

Second is a 207 Advanced Flying School plane from RAF Yeadon in 1952. Typical of training planes of the time, it has yellow bands on the wings and fuselage.

The third option is a Danish plane operated by the 3. Naval Flotilla of the Danish Navy based at Karup in 1950. This one is camouflaged.

The small (110mm x75mm) decal sheet is nicely printed, but to my eyes the red is too washed out and should be darker. Since the sheet only had two of the bars surrounding the roundel for the first option, an addendum is included. There is a full stencil suite included, which is handy as the Frog sheet was rather devoid of stencils. Instructions are well done with full color four views of each option.

It does offer some neat options for doing an F.4 Meteor, but considering the size of the sheet and price paid is too expensive.
