This sheet is taken directly from the pages of On Target #3: the BAe Hawk. An earlier decal sheet covers RAF versions and this one takes care of many world-wide versions. The sheet is superbly printed with no registration errors. Just in case, several of the smaller central 'dots' are provided separately. The decals are glossy and appear to be quite thin. They also look very opaque so that is a big plus. Were I to have any reservations, it is that the lighter green looks a bit too light in comparison with the colors shown in the instructions.
Aircraft from Kenya, Zimbabwe, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Oman, Indonesia, South Korea, Malasia and Saudi Arabia are featured. In the cases of those countries that operate multiple variants (such as Malaysia), then markings are provided for all the versions.
The instructions are two A4 sized sheets in color on both sides of the sheet. In addition to profiles, upper and lower camouflage and decal placement is provided. There is also a section on detail painting as well as any differences between the types in terms of equipment such as ejection seats.
With the release of the different Hawks by Airfix, as well as those previously available from Premiere and High Planes, you now have no excuse not to have one built and this sheet will certainly add to the spice of things.
