Tiger

The F11F Tiger is one of the neatest looking planes to come out of the 1950s. Well known for its long tenure with the Blue Angels, it's fleet time was actually only about 4 years. Very few units flew the Tiger and about half of them are represented on Microscale's sheet 72-255.
Four Pacific and two Atlantic fleet squadrons flew the F11F, while another half dozen training and develpment squadrons also flew the plane. On this sheet are one Atlantic unit and three Pacific units.
From the top is VF-33, an Atlantic Fleet squadron.
Next is VA-156 (later renamed VF-111).
The next unit with the red fuselage stripes is VF-51.
Finally is VF-121 with the nose 'flame job'.
All are designed to fit the Hasegawa 1/72 Tiger.
Below is a placement guide for VA-156, VF-51, VF-121, and VF-33.
