First of what are undoubtedly many B-17 sheets to come, this one covers both an F and G model. Both are in OD over Neutral Grey and your only choice of kits are the Revell F and the Monogram G. They are a tad long in the tooth, but not only are there no options, but they just happen to be fairly well done!

First up is 'Mount n Ride' with the 323 BS/91 BG. This aircraft had the misfortune of being damaged and interned in Switzerland during its 6th mission. That makes for a very clean aircraft in comparison to some of the veterans!

The other is 'Cincinatti Queen' of the 569 BS/390 BG. This B-17F has a darker fin center section that was common with Boeing built B-17Fs. It also has had all its deicer boots removed, leaving bare metal underneath.
