This sheet is for 4 FG Mustangs and covers two aircraft. Though no specific kit is mentioned most will probably use the Tamiya version. Really, due to the design of the markings it really doesn't matter which is used.

First up is 'Rebel Queen', a P-51b of Fred Glover when flying from the UK in early 1944. This 334 FS aircraft has the early markings of just a red nose and spinner. The white tail band has been overpainted in this example. There is some conjecture about the color of the name so two options are provided.

Next is 'Iron Ass' , the P-51K of Jack Oberhansly when with the 334 FS. It has late war markings with a larger red nose and a red rudder. Again, there is some conjecture as to its exact markings, specifically the kill markings around the canopy frame. Those shown are supposed to be the most accurate representation, but another version as shown on a warbird (which is probably wrong) is also provided. A set of masks for the nose  is also provided.

The sheet includes the finely done and quite thin nose art markings as well as insignia for both planes. It is suggested that perhaps coating the nose art markings with Microscale decal film will make them easier to work with.

As with all Pyn-Up sheets, there is an extensive background history section on each set of markings. It is research like this that makes Pyn-Up such great decals. These guys put in the extra effort to be sure that what we get is as accurate as can be.

These sheets are extremely limited to 300 copies so if you want it, you need to get it soon.
