Here is the first sheet from SB decals and it covers two line birds from current F-18F Super Hornet units. For those that are not into the jargon, a 'line bird' is a standard unit aircraft without any of the usual fancy colors that are applied to squadron commander or CAG aircraft. These planes are often overlooked by other decal companies. There is no specific kit recommended and I have to think that these markings will fit either the Hasegawa or Revell kits without any problems. As the sheet is all greyscale, I chose to scan it that way, which is why you don't see the usual light blue background.

The first aircraft on the very nicely done instructions is AC/212 from VFA-32 'Swordsmen'.

The other option is from VFA-11 'Red Rippers'. AC/204, like the previous aircraft is current, but not yet assigned to a ship, hence no ship name.

The sheet includes both full stencils and insignia for both aircraft. You will have to glean the wing walk areas, slime lights and vent decals from the kit sheet.
