Possibly planned to coincide with the release of the new Eduard kit, this sheet by Starfighter Decals covers one of the aircraft assigned to the USS Enterprise during 1945. Hellcats made excellent night fighters as their docile handling meant the pilot could concentrate on the job at hand without worrying about exceeding some flight envelope during the chase or even during landing on the ship, not an easy task even during the day.

This sheet has a solid carrier so the individual markings will need to be carefully cut out. Painting could not be any simpler as almost all -5 Hellcats were overall gloss dark sea blue and this includes wheel wells, inner gear doors, gear struts and wheels.
