Here is yet another great $5 decal sheet from Starfighter Decals. These folks have made many modelers happy with their line of decals for the classics and this adds to it. The sheet provides three options and all are short-tail -1 Bearcats. This means that you either have to use the Sword kit or modify the Monogram version, which is the taller-tailed, cannon-armed -2 variant.

All are in overall gloss sea blue and may or may not have aluminum hubs and struts.

First up is the CAG bird from the USS Tarawa in 1948.

Second, a VF-11 aircraft from 1949, also aboard the USS Tarawa.

Finally a yellow wing Bearcat from Naval Ordnance Test Station during 1950.

There are enough insignia to do two full aircraft and using insignia from other sheets, you can easily do all three. These are very nicely printed by Cartograf. The instructions give additional info like fin tip colors and prop boss colors as well as proper markings placement.
