The second sheet for the big Avenger from Superscale covers the earlier versions; the TBF-1/1C.

The TBF-1 is from VC-13 aboard the USS Core in July 1943. It is in the Blue-Grey over Light Grey scheme typical of early war aircraft. Also typical is the minimal markings.

From VT-7 aboard the USS Hancock  with VT-7 is this TBM-1C in the tri-color scheme. This aircraft has the neat horseshoe marking of Core's air wing.

Thanks to the minimal markings, insignia for both aircraft are included.
