This is one of the first 1/48 sheets produced by Superscale/Microscale and for the F4D-1 Skyray. Back then there was only the ancient Lindberg kit and the desk model Microscale kit available in 1/48. There is no kit recommendation provided. The sheet is also devoid of insignia, which had to be found on other decal sheets or the kit decals. All but one are in the light gull grey over white scheme.
First up is a VMF-115 aircraft
Next is one from VMF-114.
In the Drone Controller colors of Dark Grey, Yellow, Daglo red and Black is this NATC based aircraft.
The fourth option is one from VF-213.
Finally a VF-74 aircraft. I'd recommend painting the rudder white on this as the white background to the stars on the tail is visible through the decal.
Though several of these markings are part of the current Tamiya kit's options, the others are not and make for something a bit different.
