There are not many F-18As still in the fleet, and just about all have been brought up to F-18A+ standard, which, I believe is mostly an avionics upgrade. This is easily spotted by the larger spine VHF antenna. Not sure who does an upgrade, but it should be easy enough to do.

This aircraft from VMFA-115 is the CAG bird and is painted in the two greys scheme of FS 36320 over 36375. A large American flag is located on the speed brake to add some interest to things.

There is some problem with mis-registration on the full color insignia and, apparently, the intake warning stripes. A shame as the insignia can be replaced, but not the intake markings. Some judicious trimming may help to fix this. A talk with those who know at Superscale has resulted in them going with separate red insignia bars on future sheet runs.
