This next sheet
covers the F-18C Hornet. Both aircraft are ex-A-6E units, and of course, they
are also CAG or commander's planes. The markings are sized for the Hasegawa kit
but I see no reason why these wouldn't fit the Monogram kit, though you may have
to do a bit of trimming as I understand the Monogram fins are smaller.
First plane is from VFA-34 'Blue Blasters' as seen on their 2005 USS Abraham Lincoln cruise. The fin tips will need to be painted Insignia Blue.
The other is from VMFA-332 from 2005 and is a two seat F-18D. This aircraft uses the grey markings, full color insignia and grey lerex walkway decals.
There is enough insignia and basic markings for both planes. Superscale provides a nicely detailed markings guide for these.
