As more units transition out of the 'old' F-18C/D Hornets into the new F-18E/F aircraft, we have more decal options available. This particular sheet is for the Revell or the Hasegawa kit and provides two aircraft in the standard Tactical Paint Scheme, though each has the outer fin painted in a different color from each other.
First up is the CO's plane from VFA-136, which used to fly the F-18C. I guess the rather odd modex is a result of not yet being assigned to an air wing. Even though it carries the AB tail codes, there is no ship name.
The other is a line bird from VFA-154, an ex-Tomcat unit and flying off the USS Carl Vinson.
Superscale provides insignia and data markings for both. Check your kit to see if the sheet's intake and vent markings will fit as these are different sizes on the Revell and Hasegawa kits. If not, use what is provided by the kit sheet.
