It has been a while since we've seen a new F-16 sheet that is dedicated to the ANG. This one covers a couple of more interesting aircraft. The recommended kit is by Hasegawa though others should work without too much trouble. Both aircraft are painted in the two greys scheme of FS 36118 upper and FS 36270 on the undersides. They also won't be festooned with data stencils as most are not replaced once the airframe has been repainted from its original factory scheme.
First up is an F-16C-30 with the big mouth intake and GE engine. This one is attached to the 160 FS, Alabama ANG and has a red fin to commemorate the Tuskeegee airmen. The modeler needs to paint the fin white and then touch-up the top of the fin once the decal is applied.
The 134 FS, Vermont ANG plane is an F-16C-25 with the small mouth and P&W engine as is found in most kits. This one has a large 'Green Mountain Boy' on the fin to fit in with the slogan of the unit.
There are enough insignia and data markings to complete both aircraft.
