For the second A-7A sheet, we have yet again, a CAG bird and a Bicentennial scheme. This is for the Hobby Boss A-7A kit, though it might fit the Monogram kit with some fudging. These are both painted in Light Gull Grey over White, though the grey would be gloss as they are post 1972.
First option is from VA-303, another reserve unit operating from NAS Alameda in late 1977. Oddly, the aircraft seems to have kept its special Bicentennial markings from the year before.
Next is The CAG bird from VA-153 with its nice blue tail. I've never really known if the marking in the middle of the fin was complete or not, though I've always suspected it was not finished.
Cartograf is now Superscale's default printer and the sheet is superbly done. There are insignia and data markings for one aircraft.
