It has been a while since Superscale has done a P-40 sheet and this one is for the P-40K with the larger fin fillet. As some of you may not know, not all K models had this and indeed, this additional fillet was also fitted to very late E models.
The first of three options is a P-40K of Frank Roldan while attached to the 64th FS/57th FG in North Africa during 1942. This aircraft is in US Desert Tan uppers with Neutral Grey undersides. It also carries the theater marking for fighters, which is a red spinner.
Next is the aircraft of Robert Liles when the CO of the 16th FS/51st FG in October 1943. Olive Drab over Neutral Grey is the standard scheme and this one has a Medium Green stripe on the fin. It was typical of CBI planes to not only have the serial painted over, but to also have an ADF Loop antenna on the spine.
The final option is Charles White's sharkmouth P-40K. This one is with the 21 FS/51 FG in the summer of 1943. White forward spinner with the very tip in red and a white fin tip. This is in US equivalent Dark Earth and Dark Green over Light Grey.
Cartograf printed the sheet so you know the quality is the best. Data markings for two and insignia for two if the 64FS plane is one of them. Recommended kits are by AMT or Hasegawa.
