Once more something from the distant past and in the form of the F-8 Crusader. While in a Microscale package, it can also be found with Superscale packaging. This oldie recommended the Heller F-8 kit as it did make an F-8J and was, until the arrival of the Academy kit, the most accurate F-8 in 1/72. Both options are in the light gull grey over white scheme
First up is a VF-24 plane from the USS Hancock. Though a CAG bird, it does not carry the multi-colors that one expects.
The other is an F-8C and will require some backdating of whatever kit you use. This one is in some pretty incredible markings from VF-84 and I have to confess that I've not seen a photo of these flame markings.
As with all Microscale sheets of the day, insignia will have to come from somewhere else though all the other data markings are included.
