Another old sheet and an idea that just didn't seem to catch on is this on on 1 TFW badges. Actually, at the time of production and even today, there are only three squadrons in the Langley based 1st; the 27th, 71st and 94th. The 68th is gone and the other two are with the Eglin based 33rd FW.

If you are wondering what aircraft were with the 1st over the years, then here is a list: SE-5, MB-3, PW-8, P-1, P-6, PT-3, PT-16, P-26, P-35, P-38, P-40, P-43, P-80, F-86A-D, F-102, F-106, F-15 to name a few, There are even more if you choose to hunt, like the F-94C, Sopwith Camel and Fokker D.VII. Not saying all wore the badges, but research should show what did.
