Gleaned from other larger scale Superscale sheets comes this one for three F6F-5 Hellcats. The Academy kit is the one for which these were designed, though I'm sure you could use others. All are in the easy-to-paint Gloss Dark Sea Blue scheme.

First up is an F6F-5P from VF-84 aboard the USS Bunker hill. This air wing distinguished its aircraft with yellow cowling fronts and large white arrows.

From the USS Independence comes this VF-46 aircraft with the nice white checks on the fin and aileron. I built this scheme in 1/48 and it is quite fetching.

Finally, an F6F-5N night fighter from VFN-91 aboard the USS Bonn Homme Richard. All these planes are from 1945
