Superscale sheet # 48-171 is for a nice selection of P-51D Mustangs. All of them are in Aluminum/Natural Metal. The Korean war aircraft has a black anti-glare panel while the other two have it in olive drab.

I have used the 1/72 sheet to make all three aircraft and they are all quite colorful, especially the 40 FS version with the red, white and blue rudder stripes. There are enough national insignia to make two of the aircraft on the sheet, and enough stencils for all three aircraft.

A number of fine kits are available for this sheet. While probably designed for the Monogram kit, there are equally nice kits available from Otaki and Testors that would fit the bill. However, probably the best kit would be that from Hasegawa or Tamiya as they are both quite modern, though more expensive than the others.
