Superscale upsized several of their 1/72 F-86D sheets to 1/48, despite their really being no real kit for them to fit on. Only Lindberg with it's rather crude F-86D was (and is currently) available. I bought this sheet in anticipation of the upcoming ProModeler 1/48 F-86D.

On this sheet you get two schemes. The majority of the sheet is the red and white checkers for the 469FIS aircraft. The 94 FIS aircraft has only unit insignia and serial/buzz numbers. There are no national insignia, and enough stencils for one aircraft.

The 1/72 sheet includes the tail stripes for the 94FIS aircraft, but there just isn't room on the sheet to include that in this scale. Too bad, as the blue and white bands are very colorful. Fortunately, it is not that difficult to paint.
