Like the F-4, the P-51 is a very popular modeling subject. Thankfully, there are a BUNCH of different aftermarket sheets for this plane. Superscale adds to the several they have recently done with some subjects that are bound to please.
It seems like the 357th FG gets an awful lot of press in the aftermarket decal business. This sheet has markings for three aircraft (well, actually two). The first one is from the 363rd FS and was flown by Don Botckay. Actually, this is a 362 FS aircraft as shown by the red rudder and 'B6' code prefix. Anyway, it has a nice nose art and a multitude of kill markings on the fuselage.
Next is a couple of 'Old Crow's. Bud Anderson is a very popular modeling subject. Your editor has built both of these schemes over the course of his modeling career. Now you get them both on the same sheet and can do both of them, should you wish. If you do the camouflaged version, you'll have to paint on the wing and tail plane stripes, but the lower D-day stripes are provided.
There are sufficient common markings to do one of the three aircraft on the sheet.
