The second Crusader sheet is for the F-8E and covers two Marine squadron. These are also in Light Gull Grey over White and also for the Hasegawa kit. You could probably fit them to the Monogram kit, but the ventral strakes would be a problem as the Monogram ones are the wrong shape.
First up is VMF-235, undoubtedly one of the most built F-8 squadrons around. There is something about the red with white stars that attracts model builders.
Equally fetching, but not as gaudy is VMF-212 as shown during their Oriskany Cruise of 1965. I'm not really sure if it kept its home-base tail code of WD or would have switched to CAG's codes. Not having any of the references given, I can't verify this, but I'm sure someone will be willing to straighten me out! Late Note: I've been informed the planes did keep the WD tail codes while deployed so they are kosher. Here is a photo and thanks to http://www.fortunecity.com/boozers/whitehorse/506/airwing/vmf212.html for making it available.
As with the previous sheet, this one offers full markings for only one plane.
