This particular sheet covers C-130 Hercules' in several services. No specific kit is offered, but at the time of this sheets issue, the only one was the Airfix version. Now the Italeri one is available and most will probably choose that one.
There are markings for four planes on this sheet. Now this is the Superscale release and as such, only one side of the instructions has been copied from the Microscale version. As a result, the VMGR-252 aircraft is not shown. Both it and the VR-24 plane are in light gull grey undersides with white upper surfaces. The sheet shows the VR-24 plane with a light gull grey tail, but all of the Navy and Marine 130s I've seen in this scheme have it in in white. The VMGR-252 plane has the BH tail code and 149795 serial number.
Next is a VXE-6 LC-130R in a very colorful scheme of light gull grey, engine grey and international orange. A modification kit will be needed for the skis as these aircraft almost always carried them. Black stripes for the lines dividing the colors are provided.
Finally, a USAF AC-130A. No unit is given, but it is probably the 909 SOG. The aircraft is overall FS 36118 Gunship Grey. Since it is an A model, it may well have the three bladed Curtiss-Electric props on them. Check photo references to see what applies.
No national insignia is included as with most early Microscale/Superscale sheets. It was expected that you would buy the required insignia sheets as needed.
