Not too much available in terms of aftermarket sheets for the B-17F. At least, not as much as for the later G model. This sheet has three planes on it, all in OD over Neutral Grey, and all with some sort of nose art. For kits, Revell does a rather old one of Memphis Belle, and Academy does a more modern version. In between is the Hasegawa kit, which is still quite nice.
The first plane on the sheet is 'Miami Clipper' from the 91st Bomb Group. Though the plane looks pretty normal, it is suggested that this plane had yellow de-icer boots on it. Sounds a bit strange to me that someone would put such a color on the leading edges of such a large plane.
Next is 'My Devotion' from the 351st BG. If one can believe the swastikas on the nose, this plane is easily a double ace!
Finally, from the 96th BG comes 'Ole Puss' another F model that had seen a lot of action.
I've trimmed the decal sheet a bit as the entire lower section is just insignia.
